Every one wants to find that one job that will give them the financial freedom to do what they want when they want. Unless you're a sports star or a movie star, that job isn't out there, however, there is an opportunity to make the money you deserve and have more time for your family. Working from home can provide the financial freedom to be there when your family needs you and take time off when you want it.
The ability to be with the family is the number one reason most parents choose to work from home. If a person has more than one child, day care is so expensive that every penny earned goes almost directly to day care payments. The summer time is the time more money on day care is spent if the parent has school-aged children.
All children need day care during the summer, which adds up very quickly. The children can play outside while the work at home parent works. A responsible teenager, who is always looking for some extra cash, can baby-sit for a couple of hours if the parent needs to go to a meeting.
Working from home has become an essential tool in saving money in this economy where gas and grocery prices have skyrocketed. It doesn't seem like much, just saving money on gas. Living an average of over ten miles from the workplace, driving back and forth adds up.
Many unnecessary expenses are caused by working outside the home. Day care and gas are merely two of the many. Many of these, such as lunches, parking spots, dress clothes, dry cleaning, and dinners on the run because of a late meeting, need not drain your bank account.
Many people fear the loss of the health insurance that comes with corporate jobs. Many health insurance companies give discounts for many things, including owning small businesses. Owning a small business actually garners many discounts from unexpected places.
Rewards are offered to those who run their own business by credit cards companies. Tax exemption is available to various companies such as not-for-profit companies. A small business can also get discounts from some other small businesses.
One of the basic reasons for owning your own home business is the financial freedom received from knowing exactly where all the income goes. The owner knows how much the overhead can be, therefore can adjust the prices of their product or service accordingly. Being able to offer the product or service at a lower price due to lower overhead, makes a small business a sought after asset.
A large corporation has employees who need pay, minimum wage though, lease payments, and stock to buy. A small business from the home also has stock to buy, but at a smaller amount. This is pretty much the only overhead needed.With this being the only expense, a small business can be extremely profitable. If the owner knows that their product or service is needed widely, they can use the internet to advertise across the country. A website can be made free of charge, even if advertising costs, the owner can expand their advertising once the profits start to come in.
Within the first year, without paying for the daily corporate expenses, receiving little of the work profits, and with the small business discounts, the owner will see profits. Being closer to the family, an immediate profit, is a massive benefit. Financial freedom comes in the form of owning a home business.
